Very comfortable and conveniently located hotel in Shimoda 🎉 The rooms were spacious with good facilities including the best air conditioning I've experienced in any Japanese hotel! The futon was thick and comfortable. There is a laundry room withvery reasonably priced washing machine and dryer.. I'm really glad I chose this hotel asy base in Shimoda, it was simply perfect and a great price, too!

Do have access to washer and dryer. Washer is 300 yen and dryer is 100 yen for ten minutes. Had my clothes in dryer for 20 minutes and they didn't even get warm. Do have hangers in room so tried clothes that way. Microwave and toaster oven is off from the check in area near the stairs. No elevator so be aware. Clean rooms and mine had two windows with one facing the water. Cute and efficient. Futons are thin. I could feel the floor through mine. Everything else was beautiful minutes futon and dryer.

Excellent value for money. Enjoyed daily onsen. Clean. Spacious. Thick futon. English friendly. Low fuss. Pleasant walk to from the station.

Simple but very nice, superclean, fresh and stylish. Everything needed for a good stay. Location is 15 min walk from train station and many good eateries, also close to a road station with more food, souvenirs and near the kurofune sightseeing trips. There are two small private onsen baths and a coin laundry as well as well stocked vending machine. Run by friendly young people, most speaking very good English and super helpful.

The futon was comfortable, but there was a lack of pillows, and please be careful if you're tall, probably about 6ft+, as you risk hitting your head on many things. The onsen was always available but not as hot as I'd have preferred. Overall an excellent stay with great location!
