Kamiyamaichijo Temple

Mt. Koya Ichijo-ji is an ancient Tendai sect temple located in Matsusaka, Mie Prefecture, Japan. Situated on the mountainside, it requires climbing steep stone steps, but the sense of achievement and the great view upon arrival are its main attractions. The historical buildings remaining in the precincts evoke the atmosphere of olden times.
