I sent this as a thank you prayer for my younger child. (Four years ago) When he was born, his hearing was 120 dB in both ears, but he is now using hearing aids and is growing well.
I hope everyone who comes here gets better.

While sightseeing on an electric bicycle from Onomichi to Ikuchijima, I learned that there was a shrine with a long history dating back to the Kamakura period, so I decided to visit it. My hearing hasn't been very good since I was young, so I decided to pay my respects so that it doesn't get worse as I get older. This deity is commonly known as ``Mimigo-san,'' and it is said that people pray for the healing of ear diseases. The shrine is located within the precincts of Oyama Shrine, just up the stairs on the right side of the main shrine. Although it is a small shrine, it is impressive that there are large earlobe-shaped stuffed animals hanging on the left and right pillars. The etiquette for praying is also unique, after ringing the bell and putting in the offering money, gently tap the pillar and say "Mimigo-san, Mimigo-san, Mimigo-san" three times, bow once, then bow twice. I feel like it might be of some benefit. There is also a shrine for bicycle traffic safety within the precincts, and there is a nice cycle rack, which was helpful. When I go to a shrine or temple by bicycle, I often wonder where to park without being rude.

I was surprised by the ear shrine... Yes, there is.
It is said that the name Mimyo Shrine is pronounced ``Mimigojinja.''
He is the only god of ears in Japan that can be prayed to, and is said to be the god of information and healing of ear diseases. There is a special ritual in which it is said that if you place sake and rice inside a turban shell and make an offering, your request will be granted. Also known as ``Aritoku (Fukumi) Shrine''.

I'm going to have ear surgery, so I'm going to pray.
went.
I felt like there needed to be a little more explanation.
Is it okay to go from the main shrine or Mimyo Shrine? Where is the koyori?
I've written a lot about it, but I thought I'd like a little more detail.

Tears filled my eyes when I saw the note with my wish written on it. There were many people with disabilities who came to pray. I pray that you will get better soon.
