Have a Superb Holiday at a Hidden Cafe on Yoron Island

In the backstreets slightly away from the main tourist spots on Yoron Island, there is a stylish cafe loved by the locals. MEEDAFU'S YUI HOSTEL and COFFEE is located on the second floor of the hostel, providing a casual space where you can spend a leisurely time from the morning.

Start the Day with a Morning Set

The morning menu, popular from the 6 am opening, offers a rare 500 yen morning set on the island. Fresh toast and a drink can give you an energy charge, starting a slow day on the island.

Enjoy Lunch and Coffee Time with the Island's Blessings

The menu features dishes using Yoron Island's ingredients. Sweets using brown sugar and banana cake allow you to enjoy the unique flavors of the island. The restaurant also has Wi-Fi, making it perfect for a little work while having a break.

Superb Relaxation in a Cozy Hidden Space

The old-fashioned appearance of the store is surrounded by a calm atmosphere in the backstreets. Sunlight comes in through the large windows, allowing you to take a breath in the spacious table seats. Although it is a hidden gem not listed in the tourist guide, it is loved by the local people.

In your travels to Yoron Island, how about spending a superb holiday at a favorite cafe with such a local feel?

An Italian husband and a Japanese wife who can speak English and Italian run this hostel and cafe. Although I only utilized the cafe, all the staff there were kind and polite. They know some favourite places on Yoron Island, so if you come here, you can get some information about Yoron Island. Also, the cafe has Wi-Fi service and several Italian food and drinks.

For the price it can't be beaten, the costs for staying is VERY low. The food cost is also low, but, the vibe in the cafe is really sweet, lovely - lots of local books to browse and the wait staff are adorable. Belly is interesting, fresh today with herb and extra virgin olive oil, a Japanese sausage and fried egg. They have a few more things to but the choices are limited. For cafe at lunch, they make the most beautiful little desserts. The coffee is Japanese but strong enough to taste like coffee.

Only open from 6am til 9am,you gotta get up early to experience this lovely little cafe. The coffee here is great, as is the environment! From 11:30 until 2, it is open again for lunch, which is an option of two delicious Indian and Thai style curries. Well worth the stop!

Nice little stylish coffee shop with simple menu. Breakfast of thick toast and butter, small salad, sausage, and coffee was perfect. Only 550 yen. Very welcoming owner and staff, also popular among the locals who stop in for coffee. Really enjoyed chatting with owner and staff. Also has minshuku type accommodation (not reviewed).

The price is reasonable. The beds of domitory are neat and clean. Their foods and coffee is tasty! Moreover the owner is very kind. I'll never forget two nights here. If someone wants to visit only for the cafe, check the business hours.
