Minami-Zao Station is a small station located in the center of Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture. However, beyond its small appearance, you can strongly feel the charm of Yonezawa with its rich history and culture.
About a 5-minute walk from Minami-Zao Station is the central part of Yonezawa Castle town. After passing through the alleyways that retain the atmosphere of the castle town, you will see solid samurai residences and townhouses lining up.
