Yokohama Tonkotsu Ramen Immersed in Rich Broth

Ryu, located in Tsuihama, is a popular ramen shop in the Rokkaku family. Over the years, this shop has been beloved by many, fully embodying the charm of Yokohama-style ramen.

Savoring the Ultimate Tonkotsu Broth

Take a peek at the counter, and you'll see a variety of pot sizes, from extra large to medium. The scent of pork bone drifting from the pots will instantly stimulate your salivary glands. This broth is carefully simmered for a long time, resulting in a rich and concentrated flavor.

When you take a sip, you'll experience the mellow richness of the pork bone and the exquisite umami of elegant soy sauce. The occasional hint of saltiness will stimulate your appetite, tempting you to quickly gulp down the broth.

Enjoying the Yokohama-style Flavor with Perfect Combinations

The noodles are medium-thick straight noodles, enhancing the compatibility with the broth due to their chewy texture and firmness. Additionally, the fragrant aroma of spinach and the refined smoky scent of chashu create depth of flavor.

The subtle seaweed flavor also adds to the experience, allowing you to enjoy the changing taste of the broth with each mouthful. It's a flavor that never gets old, and one that might make you feel intoxicated by its richness.

Convenient Access to a Familiar Establishment

The location, just a short walk from Tsuihama Station, is also appealing. It's easy to stop by on the way home, which explains why many repeat customers frequent this establishment. The gentle ambiance and beloved flavors continue to attract people of all ages and genders.

If you want to savor a rich and satisfying bowl of ramen, why not visit Ryu and experience it for yourself?

☆Ryu☆ This is a Rokkakuya sister store near Oppama Station. This will be my first visit in about four and a half years. It's a latecomer in this series. Ramen + extra seaweed. I asked for the noodles to be hard. In the kitchen, there is one extra-large, one large, and one medium-sized zundo. The soup is well cooked I didn't notice the pork bone smell compared to last time. Sakai noodles are boiled in Taebo. This pot contains tea instead of water. Cold tea is nice when it's this warm and sunny. Last time it was a pretty light image. What do you think? I waited 5-6 minutes for the rice bowl to arrive. The bowl is large, probably the same as the medium size. The soup is a balanced type with a slightly strong soy sauce. You can't see that much chicken oil, but over time it forms an oil film. Could it be the fat in the material? But the smell of chicken oil was good. The soup was viscous and had a slightly grainy texture when mixed. There is almost no animal feeling. There is a certain amount of pork bone, and you can also feel the flavor and richness of the soup stock. The soy sauce is so strong that it tends to get overshadowed by that. The soy sauce is crisp and easy to drink. The aftertaste is a little heavy with oil. It may be because it has a thick texture. There was plenty of soup and it was piping hot until the end. Last time I had a lighter memory. The vector was different then. It has a strong soy sauce flavor, which makes it unique among the Rokkakuya sister restaurants. It's sharp and I think it's good. Sakai's medium-thick noodles were served with just the right firmness. It looks like straight noodles. While it retains its firmness, it feels like it becomes soft as you eat it. It went down smoothly and was delicious. Is the chashu roast? Normal size and thinly sliced. It was soft and had a slight smoky taste. Lots of spinach. It has a good texture and a strong flavor. I don't know if it was boiled raw, but it was delicious. 6 pieces of seaweed. The size and thickness are normal, but it feels a little weak when you dip it, probably because the soup is hot. The flavor was quite good. The green onion used as a condiment is chopped into rings first, so it's not overwhelming. Yeah. The soy sauce was strong last time too. This time, the soup stock was strong and it wasn't light at all. The ingredients were also good overall. If you imagine Rokkakuya, the taste is different. I thought this kind of balance wasn't bad. Thank you for the meal♪

I visited Ryu-san for lunch after a long time. I had the ramen special. The toppings were char siu, 9 pieces of seaweed, and a flavored egg. I was satisfied with the visuals, but I felt like the soup had changed from before. Soy sauce flavor with no pork bone taste. Family lineage? I have thought. I don't know when I'll be able to go to Oppama next time, but I hope things will change for the better next time.

I wanted to eat ramen so I went there. It's Yokohama Iekei Ramen, but it's not that rich or salty. It's easy to eat and delicious. Very close to Oppama station. Access is extremely good.

Although there is no "house" in the shop name, it is a family style ramen. Go down the stairs from Oppama Station on the Keikyu Line and find the police station, next to Isomaru Suisan on the right side of the road. Good location, 1 minute walk from the station. Open the door and there is a food ticket machine on the left. Ramen 630 yen and flavored egg 100 yen. I would like the noodles to be hard. Inside the store, there are 7 seats at the counter and 2 4-seat tables. The inside of the store cannot be denied because of the age of the building in front of the station. Due to time constraints, the shop owner is the sole operator. Arrived at the bowl relatively early. The soup has a dark color, and when you first slurp it up, it's salty, but it goes well with the pork bones. The noodles are medium thick and slightly curly, making them delicious when mixed with the soup. The ingredients are char siu, spinach, and seaweed. Just my personal opinion, I think it's delicious overall. I also like the owner's dedication to making ramen and his reasonable customer service. Considering the location in front of the station, I think I'll visit again when I come to Oppama.
