Nice & chewy thick homemade soba noodle is made by 80% buckwheat 20% flower here at Yauchi. The pic was Kamo Jiru (duck broth) Soba with Chikuwa (fishcake) Tempura on the side. It was an amazing experience & I highly recommend here to all my friends!!

Once you eat it, your concept of soba will change and you won't be able to eat any other soba. The famous duck soup soba is a special dish, and both soba and noodles have an addictive flavor. The thick and hard noodles are unique to this place. This is the only soba restaurant I know of where you can chew your noodles thoroughly. Although it is not recommended for those who like a smooth texture, the more you chew, the more you can enjoy the aroma of soba and the firmness of udon. I've been coming here for 20 years, and I used to like it because it was harder. Lately, it seems like the noodles have become more appealing to everyone, but they are still unique noodles like no other. Each dish is delicious, with careful work that brings out the best in the ingredients. The taste of the food is enhanced by the quaint atmosphere of the restaurant and the charming customer service of the proprietress. Although it is far from the station and not easily accessible, it is always crowded with customers. There are plenty of parking lots, so it's convenient if you come by car. I really don't want the number of people to increase any more, but it's already a well-known restaurant, so I'm writing about it. Please enjoy it.

I had the signature menu, duck soup soba, and seasonal tempura (green onions). It had a delicate flavor that brought out the goodness of each ingredient, making you nod your head as you ate it. It's delicious. (I'm also glad that it was voluminous.LOL) The staff's customer service is warm and warm, so it's no wonder they have such high ratings. I will go again.
