Taiho Park is a small, lush green park located in the center of Tottori City. A narrow stream flows through the park, and willow trees elegantly sway. The serene atmosphere, as if time has stood still, makes this place a comfortable hideaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The origins of this park date back to the Edo period. It was once the villa of the lord of the Ikeda clan, and part of the garden from that time is still preserved. The pond paved with white tiles and the stream that surrounds it evoke a nostalgic ambiance.
