Shimane's famous chicken ramen full of chicken flavor

The "Tori no Suke Oda Shop" in Oda City, Shimane Prefecture, is a renowned chicken ramen shop unique to Shimane. The aroma of spicy chicken soy sauce floating in the fluffy soup stimulates the appetite.

The charm of rich and flavorful soup

The most popular dish at "Tori no Suke" is the rich chicken soba, packed with the rich flavor of chicken. The firm thin noodles absorb the soup and spread a rich flavor in the mouth. It also comes with half a bowl of rice, so you can enjoy the leftover soup with rice.

A variety of unique menus

This shop also offers unique ramen, such as the fragrant "Grilled Salt Ramen" and the authentic "House Style Ramen", cooked over an open flame. There are also seasonal limited-time menus, making it a place you can visit without getting tired of the options.

Takeout is also very popular

Be sure to get takeout when you're on the move. It is packed in a container with a heat pack, so the deliciousness remains unchanged even after some time. It is also recommended as a souvenir that will delight ramen lovers.

Enjoy the taste of this long-loved renowned shop at least once. Indulge in the charm of Shimane's representative ramen to your heart's content.

When I went there for the first time in a while, the ordering system had changed. First, I went to the cash register, ordered, paid, received a numbered ticket, and went to my seat. When called, I go to pick it up myself. When I finish eating, I return the dishes. It was a bit messy, but the taste was consistent and delicious! Chicken soy sauce white rice lunch @814

My first chicken soy sauce ramen. It didn't have the distinctive flavor of pork bones or seafood, but I wanted the chicken to have a little more flavor. If it's for everyone, it's probably the right answer. The gyoza and chicken rice set were delicious😋

I visited on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant is quite spacious with 8 table seats and 8 counter seats. A system where you order while seated and pay when you leave. I'm grateful for the rich set menu. Order the special rich chicken soba (990 yen) and fire chicken (790 yen) with the Torinosuke A set (+ 490 yen). The rich chicken soba has a thick and rich soup, and the thin chashu noodles have a firm texture due to the loose meat. It's topped with seasoned eggs, menma, mizuna, and two sheets of seaweed. The fire chicken was spicy, but it was quite spicy.Set A consisted of pork rice topped with diced pork and a choice of fried chicken or gyoza. The pork rice was covered in sauce and the gyoza had wings, so the wings were really big. I am thankful that six types of pickles, including mustard greens, pickled radish, and pickled ginger, are provided free of charge.

I had Ramen Set A for lunch. A set of chicken soy sauce ramen and gyoza. The menu included pickles, but they didn't come out. The taste is at a normal level. The char siu was a little thick, about 6mm, and it wasn't anything special either, and had a normal taste. However, the plastic wrap on the small plate was dirty. Please replace it every day.

I went there for the first time in a long time. I was told, "Please take a seat that is available," and took a seat. There were no menus on the table, so I took the menu from near the entrance, said "excuse me" and tried to order, but was told to order here, so I went to the cash register and ordered. I was given a number tag and had to self-serve. If you're taking a selfie, please post it somewhere and say something before you take your seat. On the way home, I checked to see if I had overlooked it, but there was no sign anywhere. I can understand if it was a self-service restaurant with 2 or 3 people working, but I think there were about 5 people. I may not be able to change the price due to the balance with other stores, but the price is high for a self-serve ramen. It's a shame that the Ota store is my favorite ramen shop (Torinosuke).
