Iwate's Charming Miso Workshop

Located in a quiet residential area of Toono City, Iwate Prefecture, Miso Workshop Joukitchen offers surprisingly authentic miso ramen despite its ordinary appearance.

Exquisite Ramen Highlighting Local Flavors

The delicate handmade miso by the owner brings out the taste of Iwate's earth. The special miso sauce infuses the tender texture of the marinated char siu, and the ramen carries the faint sweetness of vegetables from Iwate prefecture. Every dish is a result of the owner's passionate dedication.

Artisanal Skills with Extra Effort

Joukitchen's ramen is prepared by hand, so there is a wait, but the result is the manifestation of the artisan's commitment to the exquisite blend of soup and noodles. The flat noodles, boiled upon order, offer a delightfully chewy texture.

Warm and Hospitable Shop Atmosphere

The small shop, with only counter seats, is surrounded by the warm atmosphere of passing people. The owner's hospitality and care for the customers create a rich atmosphere.

Many people visit from afar in search of delicious miso ramen, and although there may be a wait during busy times, Joukitchen's unique hospitality will gently soothe the waiting.

First visit. I always passed by this shop, but it caught my attention. Miso is the best part of the system where you buy a meal ticket. The miso ramen I ate had the flavor of the stir-fried vegetables combined with the miso, creating an exquisite flavor! This is delicious! Gomoku Ramen also seems to be quite delicious.

It's delicious even if you eat it! The soup has sweet and rich vegetables, and chewy noodles! it's the best! It's true that you have to wait until it's served, but it's proof that you take your time to make each one delicious! I always Jokichi miso 80 minutes ramen and gyoza. Today we topped it with garlic, egg, and chashu! On weekdays, I will definitely top it with mini fried rice, which is only available on weekdays! The fried rice here is delicious and delicious, and I highly recommend it!

I went on a business trip to Tono City at the beginning of the year, and since it was Sunday afternoon, I decided to try some ramen, so I searched for a nearby ramen restaurant and found this one ( ・ω・)hmmm It was close so I decided to head there ((((((っ・ω・)っ Boo! When we arrived, the parking lot was spacious and the storefront looked quite nice (*´﹃`*) Since it was cold, I went into the store early and bought the 20-serving limited green onion miso ramen from the ticket vending machine (*´ω`*) It seemed like there were quite a few customers since it was Sunday lunchtime. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the ramen was right in front of me (´・ω・`) The soup was quite refreshing, the noodles were medium thick, and there were lots of green onions, so I ordered a large portion and it was just the right amount (*´ ˘ `*) I would like to try the rich miso wonton next time ︎︎👍

The parking lot is large. The store has an air purifier at the entrance, and next to the hand washing area there is rubbing alcohol and a thermometer (which was not in operation today). There is a counter with about 15 seats, two raised crabs, and two low tables spaced apart. (Originally, there would be three low tables.) The standard system is that you order and pay in cash when you leave. This time I ordered rich miso ramen and garlic topping. There were about 2/3 of the customers in front of me, so it took about 30 minutes to get the bowl. It's not a quick service. It's a rich miso ramen, but there is backfat in the soup, but it's not that rich. The taste was good, and the temperature of the soup was not too hot. The char siu was relatively large and not thin. The garlic topping came in plenty, so I think it could be shared by two people. It was a hot summer day in the store, but the air conditioning was working well and the ramen was delicious. We have confirmed that they thoroughly wash with alcohol when changing customers.

I've been thinking about it for a long time, but today I finally visited for the first time! Instead of a ticket vending machine, a staff member comes to take your order.Since it says ``Miso Kobo'', I ordered the rich miso ramen for the first time! Personally, I was expecting a wilder richness, but...I guess it's an elegant richness? But it's back fat, right? The soup looks delicious~♪ As other people's reviews said... it takes about 30 minutes from the time you order until the ramen comes out 💧 If you don't have time, it might be better to refrain from eating it (lol) ) Inside the store, there are 13 seats at the counter and 12 seats on the raised floor. The number of customers keeps coming and going! The parking space is wide, so you don't have to worry about it (lol) Next time, if I can come, I'd like to come on a weekday and try the half-fried rice or mini-don ramen that are only available on weekdays ♪ When I came here for the first time in a while, there was a ticket vending machine at the entrance of the store. To! ! Looks like the menu prices have gone up a bit (lol)💧
